Lovely Summer Family Session at Millennium Park

I was so excited when Mrs Jo and I planned this session. Mrs Jo was my piano teacher and we always seemed to get just as much talking as piano playing into our lessons, though, of course, I was a very circumspect student. Anyway, she's a very fun person, and so are all of them, so I knew this session would be amazing.

We met up at Millenium Park, in Kent County. I love Millennium Park because there's just so much variety. You could do five different sessions there and have them all look like they were taken in totally different places. I digress, though. So we met at Millennium Park early in May. You would never guess it was so early in the year though-- or so cold. In between photos everyone was bundling into their coats, though, surprisingly, I wasn't actually that cold myself. But, like I was saying, to me at least it looked more like late May, which was so nice. I think winter in West Michigan is beautiful, of course, but I don't love the dead foliage vibe in photos.

The highlight of the session for me was baby Ella. She is just so adorable and I wanted to take photos of everything she did. It was impossible to stop! I feel like I got way more pictures of her than of everybody else, but oh well. I just got a lot of pictures in general. It was hard to pick which ones to send to them. Really, this whole session was just amazing. It was so natural and flowed so well and everyone looked so happy. But I've rambled long enough. Enjoy some of my favorites!!
